As Thanksgiving approaches, U.S. Representative Paul Gosar extended holiday wishes to his constituents, highlighting a recent report from the American Farm Bureau Federation that shows the average cost of a Thanksgiving dinner has decreased by 5% compared to last year and remains below the record high in 2022.

Gosar discussed the latest September jobs report, noting that “the latest jobs report came out this week, shattering economists’ expectations adding 119,000 new jobs in September as wages grow and more Americans enter the workforce.” He attributed these economic improvements to efforts by Republicans in Congress and former President Trump. Gosar added, “The jobs report notes that nearly all of the new jobs were in the private sector and went to American-born workers instead of illegal aliens, reversing another Biden-era trend. Overall, wages are up approximately 4% since last year and models are now projecting a blockbuster 4.2% GDP growth figure for the third quarter.”

This week, Gosar also voted in favor of releasing all files related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. He stated: “For years I have demanded full transparency concerning the investigation, including the circumstances of his death. The same cannot be said of the Democrats, who also for years have refused to release any of the Epstein files or even bother to speak a word concerning the victims.” According to Gosar, more than 65,000 pages of documentation have been released by Republicans on his committee. He criticized Bill and Hillary Clinton for declining invitations to testify before his committee regarding their connections with Epstein.

In legislative news, Gosar reintroduced H.R. 6057, known as the Criminal Alien Removal Clarification Act. The bill aims to reinforce federal authority to deport non-citizens convicted of serious crimes. “My legislation makes it unmistakably clear that criminal aliens have no right to remain in the United States,” he said. As of mid-2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records indicate there are over 662,000 illegal immigrants with documented criminal histories on ICE’s non-detained docket.

Gosar criticized several Democratic lawmakers—including Arizona Senator Mark Kelly—for encouraging members of the military not to follow orders from President Trump and senior military officials. “Their actions are beyond the pale,” he said.

He also highlighted positive trends in military recruitment since President Trump took office.

Gosar’s newsletter included a featured photograph from Steve and Chrisi Birmingham of Yuma County and encouraged others to submit their photos for future editions.

Paul Gosar was reelected in both 2022 and 2024 general elections with significant margins over his opponents.
