Congressman Paul A. Gosar has reintroduced H.R. 4668, the End the Vaccine Carveout Act, which aims to remove liability protections for vaccine manufacturers. This legislation would allow individuals injured by vaccines to pursue civil lawsuits in state or federal court.

Gosar stated, “Current immunity provisions unfairly shielding Big Pharma from the harms caused by their products prevents those injured by vaccines to pursue a civil lawsuit in state or federal court.” He added that these protections have resulted in significant profits for pharmaceutical companies while leaving many without legal recourse.

The bill challenges a 1986 law granting legal immunities to vaccine manufacturers, making it difficult for victims to win cases. “No industry… should be immune from the liability its products cause,” Gosar emphasized.

Mary Holland, President of Children’s Health Defense, praised the initiative: “Rep. Gosar’s ‘End the Vaccine Carveout Act’ is exactly what we need to ensure vaccines are held to the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.”

Stephanie Weidle of Feds For Freedom also supports the bill, criticizing existing protections under the PREP Act as unconstitutional: “This must end. The End the Vaccine Carveout Act is a significant step toward restoring our nation’s values of justice and life.”

Zen Honeycutt from Moms Across America highlighted concerns about vaccine ingredients impacting health: “It is clear that vaccine manufacturers must be responsible for the safety of their products.”

The bill has gained support from various representatives and groups advocating for changes in vaccine liability laws.
