Rep. Leo Biasiucci, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 30th House District, posted a series of tweets addressing the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the arrest of a suspect in connection with the incident.
On September 12, 2025, Biasiucci reported on his social media account: “President Trump states that the Charlie Kirk suspect is in custody. Press conference will be at 6am.”
Later that day, he provided further details about the suspect and circumstances surrounding the case: “22 years old. How does evil destroy the soul of a 22 year old? – 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson has been taken into custody for the assassination of Charlie Kirk after being turned in by his father.”
On September 13, Biasiucci reflected on political discourse and its consequences following Kirk’s death: “I miss the days you could disagree on politics with someone and still have a beer with them afterwards. In a way, Charlie Kirk did that on the main stage, and he was killed for it. “
Biasiucci replaced Robert Meza as representative for Arizona’s 30th House District after winning election in 2023.
