CITY OF KINGMAN: Street Drags Street Closures Start October 21

City of Kingman issued the following announcement on Oct. 18

Below is a schedule of street closures and detours beginning October 21, 2019, through October 30, 2019.

Detours will be in place and up-to-date street closures and restrictions can be found at the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive Maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis

Starting Monday, October 21, through Wednesday, October 23:

Closure of Andy Devine Avenue/Route 66 from Harrison to Navajo, with the detour opening on Airfield to Harrison

Hoover St. from Kingman Ave to Andy Devine will also be closed.

K-Rail placement on Andy Devine begins along with timing system and trusses.

Thursday, October 24 at 7:00am:

Closure of Andy Devine from Harrison to Fairgrounds. The closure of Andy Devine from Navajo to Airfield. The closure of Navajo to Ashfork. The closure of Kingman Ave from Navajo to Harrison. Closure of Harrison from Motor to Andy Devine.

Detour on Airfield to Harrison to Motor to Fairgrounds.

Monday, October 28 at 7:00am:

Kingman Ave opened. Harrison opened from Andy Devine to Motor.

All race participants removed from Andy Devine from Harrison to Fairgrounds. Andy Devine opened from Harrison to Fairgrounds by 5:00 p.m.

K-Rail and timing system removal starts from the north end of Andy Devine toward Harrison.

Andy Devine from Navajo to Airfield will have vendors removed and be opened by 5:00 p.m.

Navajo from Andy Devine to Ashfork will be reopened by 5:00 p.m.

Hoover St. from Andy Devine to Kingman Ave will be opened by 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00am:

Continue clearing K-Rail and timing system from Navajo south and Harrison North on Andy Devine.

Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00am:

Final removal of all equipment from Andy Devine and reopen by 5:00 p.m.
