Kingman residents may soon notice a new city logo rolling out across the city.
In a virtual and unanimous vote on June 16, Kingman City Council chose to adopt a new city logo. The logo is being rolled out in multiple phases, some of which came into place almost immediately.
The design took months of work between multiple departments within the city and GEO, a marketing firm based in Arizona. The design showcases key features of Kingman, including a nod to Route 66 being an integral piece of the community.
“This logo looks like the Kingman I think of when driving into the city – the mountains, the Mother Road, the sun and the southwestern colors," said Mayor Jen Miles in a press release on the city's website. "I hope everyone feels an affinity with the logo as a place called home as well as the invitation to explore and enjoy our beautiful city.”
The new logo will be shared with local business owners and community members to use in their materials over the coming weeks.
