175 New COVID-19 Cases Since Wednesday Noon Plus 8 New Deaths 24,830 Total Positives / 729 Total Deaths

Mohave County Health Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 175 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday noon. There are 8 new deaths, ALL previously reported positive cases. 

Four of the eight deaths reported are in the Bullhead City service area. One is 40-49; one is 50- 59; one is 60-69; one is 70-79. Three of the deaths are in the Kingman service area. One is 30-39; one is 60-69; one is 80-89. The eighth and final death is from the Laje avasu City service area, a 60-69 person. Of the 175 new confirmed cases, there are 70 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area There are 80 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are 23 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. 

There are 2 new confirmed case in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined or unknown area of the county. 

ALL 175 new cases remain under investigation. Of the 70 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, nine are 0-10; ten are 11-19; twelve are 20-29; eight are 30-39; four are 40-49; ten are 50-59; eight are 60-69; four are 70-79; five are 80- 89. Of the 80 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, ten are 0-10; ten are 11-19; six are 20-29; ten are 30-39; seven are 40-49; ten are 50-59; sixteen are 60-69; ten are 70-79. Of the 23 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 0-10; six are 11-19; two are 20-29; five are 30-39; two are 50-59; three are 60-69; one is 70-79; three are 80-89. Of the two new confirmed cases in the North County area, one is 20-29 and one is 50-59. TOTAL POSITIVE CASES SINCE 1ST CASE REPORTED –-----24,671

TOTAL RECOVERED THUS FAR: 21,977

AVERAGE AGE OF CASES SINCE CASE #1: 46.3

AVERAGE AGE OF DEATHS SINCE FIRST DEATH: 74.2
