Mohave County issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 178 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday noon. There are also 4 new deaths from previously reported positive cases.
ALL four new deaths are from previously reported positive cases. One is a 50-59 person in the Bullhead City service area; one is a 50-59 person in the Kingman service area; one is a 60-69 person in the Lake Havasu City service area; and, the final new death reported is a 50-59 person in the North County service area.
Of the 178 new confirmed cases, there are 56 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area There are 91 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are 31 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 0 new confirmed cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined or unknown area of the county.
ALL 178 new cases remain under investigation. Of the 56 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, eight are 0-10; eight are 11-19; three are 20-29; nine are 30-39; six are 40-49; six are 50-59; nine are 60-69; seven are 70-79. Of the 91 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, ten are 0-10; seventeen are 11-19; thirteen are 20-29; eighteen are 30-39; four are 40-49; eleven are 50-59; seven are 60-69; nine are 70-79; one is 80-89; one is 90+.
Of the 31 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 0-10; eight are 11-19; five are 20-29; three are 30-39; two are 40-49; four are 50-59; four are 60-69; three are 70-79; and, there is one from the Lake Havasu City in which the age is unknown.
