"Our Time, Our History" on January 15, 2022

Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Take a Trip back in western musical history with Dr. Jay Cravath. Miners, Cowboysa adn Washerwomen: The Worksongs of Arizona. In a narrative and musical portrait of working class music, explore its roots adn rythms in our state. From Hopi basket songs, the Yavapai acorn gathering songs, to the cotton fields of Chandler, and the crooked streets of Jerome, songs were comparisons to the immigrants who explored and build our state. Jay Cravath is a composer, writer, and scholar in music, humanities, and Indigenous Studies.
