DESCRIPTIVE TITLE: This proposal increases the General Sales Tax Rate to 3.06% and the Retail and Use Tax Rates to 3.06% on the portion of a single-item below $10,000 with the balance of the sales/purchase price subject to tax at 2.5%. The tax proceeds will be used to fund street repair, maintenance, and improvements.
