CHANDLER, Ariz. – Learn a new skill, discover the world or just find an entertaining book to read at Chandler Public Library (CPL). All it takes is a library card to gain access to a wealth of resources and activities available at the four library locations. Chandler Public Library and libraries nationwide partner with the American Library Association every September for Library Card Sign-up Month. It is a reminder to the community to get a new library card or renew one at no cost.
With a free library card, CPL cardholders can access thousands of materials including books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music and more. The library also offers amenities such as fax and copy services, free WiFi, and nearly 350 computers intended for public use.
In addition, a variety of free programs are offered every month to provide education, entertainment and creative outlets for patrons of all ages. These programs and activities include story times, the Book and Board Lounge at the Downtown Library and art activities for the whole family. Visit the library’s event calendar for the most up-to-date information.
Chandler residents and nonresidents can sign-up for a library card in person by visiting one of CPL’s four locations or Chandler Public Library.
