This week, Representative Gosar voted against a measure that sought to halt the removal of the Speaker of the House. Gosar had previously expressed support for the removal of the Speaker, citing concerns over illegal immigration and financial aid to Ukraine. "When I added my support behind efforts to remove the Speaker three weeks ago, I noted that nearly 11 million illegal aliens have crossed our southern border since Joe Biden took office," he said.

The representative also voiced his support for H.R. 2925, known as the Mining Regulatory Clarity Act. This legislation aims to resolve issues caused by a 2019 court decision, known as the "Rosemont" decision, which revoked an approved mine plan in Arizona and caused uncertainty for proposed mining projects on federal lands across the country.

Gosar voted in favor of adding a citizenship question to the next decennial census. The bill, H.R. 7109 or the Equal Representation Act, seeks to address representation imbalances caused by illegal immigrants and would require future censuses to include a citizenship question.

Over the weekend, Gosar announced winners of Arizona's Ninth Congressional District Art Competition. The annual contest recognizes high school students' artwork, with winning pieces displayed in Washington D.C., and scholarship funds awarded by Mohave Community College.

In other news, Special Counsel Jack Smith admitted that federal prosecutors tampered with evidence seized during a raid at Mar-a-Lago as part of their investigation into Donald Trump. As a result, the trial has been postponed indefinitely.

Finally, Gosar addressed several letters from constituents expressing dissatisfaction with his actions and policies. He responded by stating that he welcomes different perspectives and viewpoints and will add these individuals to his prayer list.
