Arizona Rep. Regina E. Cobb issued the following announcement on March 18.
Representative Regina Cobb (R-5) issued the following
statement today following the passage of HB 2668, the Health Care Investment Act, from the Arizona Senate.
“When I introduced this bill in January, I never would have predicted the challenges facing our state and health care system today. Ensuring that our hospitals, doctors and other health care providers have the resources for preparedness and to meet the growing demand for health care services is crucial. By infusing more than $1 billion into the state, we will be better positioned for our COVID-19 response and recovery. I thank Senator David Gowan for sponsoring the companion bill in the Senate and all of the health care stakeholders who worked tirelessly on this effort.”
The bill will now be transmitted to the governor to await final action.
