Mohave County has named the seven final candidates for Mohave County Manager on May 19.
The current Mohave County Manager is Mike Hendrix, but he announced that he will be retiring his position and leaving on June 30, according to a press release from the county. The county has narrowed its search down to seven candidates.
The seven candidates for County Manager are: Scott Albert from Richardson, Texas; Bassam (Sam) Elters from Phoenix, Arizona; Yvonne Orr from Kingman, Arizona; Ronda Perez from Lancaster, California; Paul Van Haute from Eatonton, Georgia; Timothy Walsh, Jr. from Kingman, Arizona and David Williams from Prescott Valley, Arizona.
All final County Manager candidates will be interviewed this week, according to the press release. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic or other restrictions, interviews can take place by video, but if conditions permit, there will be face-to-face interviews. All interviews will be in an executive session and the final decision of who will receive the position will be made in an opening meeting, the press release states.
