Charles of Italy Beauty College recently issued the following announcement

Charles of Italy Beauty College has signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certificate and Agreement of the CARES Act and will use no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the Cares Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

Charles of Italy Beauty College has received $37,018 from the Department of Education for Emergency Grants to Students.

Charles of Italy Beauty College has disbursed $37,018 for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students as of 05/22/2020.

Charles of Italy Beauty College estimated that 41 students will be eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1975 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

Charles of Italy Beauty has disbursed Emergency Financial Aid Grants to 40 students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

Charles of Italy Beauty College determined which students were eligible for Emergency Financial Aid Grants based on the eligibility criteria of Section 484 in the Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1975. Charles of Italy Beauty divided the total aid received equally among all students actively enrolled when the money was received ($37,018/40=$925.45).

Charles of Italy Beauty College has disbursed the above mentioned Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus, including eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance such as, food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care. Students are responsible for ensuring the institution that the funds will be used solely for the above mentioned purpose.
