Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Mohave Community College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Mohave Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Arizona residents paid $2,112 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 230.1 percent more than residents this year, or $6,972. Their price tag was unchanged from $6,972 in 2017-18.

About 91 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Arizona residents. And about 9 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 75 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 105 students received grants or scholarships totaling $521,276 and 22 students took out student loans totaling more than $137,126.

Including all undergraduates (4,071), 1,818 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.8 million, and 493 students took out $2.9 million in federal student loans.
