With some COVID-19 metrics improving in the local community, Mohave Community College (MCC) is adjusting its on-campus restrictions.
With movement into the college’s Pandemic Phase 2, students will again have access to Student Serviced Department front desk staff during the coming registration window, according to a release posted to the college’s website.
“On Oct. 19 you’ll be able to come to a campus near you, meet with our team in-person and get information and assistance signing up for spring semester classes,” Stacy Klippenstein, MCC president, said. “Since the virus is still active in the region, we’re also keeping our virtual communication lines fully staffed for people who are more comfortable calling, emailing or chatting with us through the college website.”
Most students and staff remain off-campus through remote learning and telecommuting, according to the release. However, the college is hoping to move the Pandemic Phase 3 by the start of spring semester, with the majority of classes held in person on all of its campuses.
