133 New COVID-19 Cases Since Wednesday Noon 13 Deaths 24,157 Total Positives / 719 Total Deaths **Press Conference LINK With Hospital CEOs See Below

Mohave County issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.

The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 133 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday noon. There are 13 deaths. All, but one of the 13 deaths are from previously reported cases. Five of the new deaths are from the Bullhead City service area. One is 30-39; one is 40-49; one is 60-69; two are 80-89. Four of the 13 deaths are from the Kingman service area. Two are 60-69; one is 70-79; one is 80- 89. Four of the 13 deaths are from the Lake Havasu City area. Two are 40-49, with one of those also being one of today’s new 133 cases. The final two deaths are 80-89. Of the 133 new confirmed cases, there are 60 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area.There are 49 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. 

There are 19 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 0 new confirmed cases in the North County service area. There are 5 new cases in an Undetermined or unknown area of the county. ALL 133 cases remain under investigation. Of the 60 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, nine are 0-10; eleven are 11-19; eight are 20-29; eleven are 30-39; seven are 40-49; six are 50-59; two are 60-69; five are 70-79; one is 80-89. Of the 49 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, six are 0-10; ten are 11-19; eight are 20-29; ten are 30-39; six are 40-49; two are 50-59; five are 60-69; two are 70-79. Of the 19 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, two are 11-19; one is 30-39; one is 40-49; four are 50-59; three are 60-69; five are 70-79; one is 80-89; one is 90+. The 19th new in the Lake Havasu City area is the death mentioned above. Of the 5 new confirmed cases in an Undetermined or Unknown County area, one is 30-39; one is 40-49; one is 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 70-79.

21,803 AVERAGE AGE OF CASES SINCE CASE #1: 46.5 AVERAGE AGE OF DEATHS SINCE FIRST DEATH: 74.3

Mohave County Health Director Denise Burley also participated. The CEOs were: Mike Patterson – Havasu Regional Medical Center; Mike Stenger – Western Arizona Regional Medical Center; Will McConnell – Kingman Regional Medical Center; Feliciano Jiron – Valley View Medical Center.

Important Updated Local Information on Reducing COVID-19 Hospitalizations 

Early intervention with monoclonal antibody infusion therapy can shorten the duration of COVID-19 symptoms and reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalization.
