Bullhead City issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
The Bullhead City Municipal Court currently has approximately 3,000 cases with active warrants. In efforts to reduce this number, while providing defendants the opportunity to comply with court orders without fear of arrest, the Bullhead City Municipal Court is holding an Amnesty Day.
For those who have a warrant(s), or are late making payments, and voluntarily appear at the Court on that day will be given a one-time opportunity to resolve their noncompliance without being taken into custody. Should the defendant desire to pay their fines in full, this can be resolved without seeing a Judge on Amnesty Day. If the defendant is unable to pay their case balance in full, they will see the Judge to establish a payment plan. If a defendant has warrants for a Failure to Appear, the Judge will set a new court date to resume the case.
The Amnesty Day will be held at the
Bullhead City Municipal Court located at
1255 Marina Boulevard, Bullhead City, Arizona on
Friday, September 10, 2021 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
