384 New COVID-19 Cases Since Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Also: 3 Deaths Reported

The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 384 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at noon. There are also 3 deaths reported. All are previously reported positive cases. Deaths are counted by the week of diagnosis and deaths by month may increase as there is often a lag between when a death occurs and when it is reported.) 

Neighboring counties have progressed from low to medium levels of transmission. ADHS continues to review and audit case/death-related data, and as a result, numbers may fluctuate above or below previously reported. Over the past month confirmed cases have begun to trend upward. Although there are currently no known direct transmission influences, increases in community events, large-scale gatherings, and travel may play a role in confirmed case trends. 14-day average of approximately 27 new confirmed cases per day. The average age of reported cases so far in the month of June is 47.3 years of age. This is a decrease in age from the last report on 5/25 which was an average age of 50.6 and in line with the average age across the pandemic which is 47.2.
