The City of Bullhead City is inviting the community to attend a grand reopening and ribbon cutting celebration for the newly renovated Splash Pad at Ken Fovargue Park that will take place on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 1 p.m.
The city recently closed the Splash Pad at Ken Fovargue Park to make improvements to the Splash Pad and pool area that was built in 2014. The city installed a new soft padding that replaced the concrete surface. The new padding, Life Floor, is an aquatic surface manufacturer found in water parks and pools across the country. The slip resistant, cushioned, and playful surface will add comfort and beauty to the splash pad and is much cooler than concrete.
