Spent the morning with the students at Fort Mojave Elementary for their First Responders Appreciation event. The kids were full of energy and questions for both our Deputies and our Search and Rescue volunteers.
After we were done showing off our vehicles and equipment, everyone moved inside the cafeteria for a brief assembly where the students presented all of the First Responders with certificates of appreciation. The Glee Club then sang us all a song and we ended the event with a parade out the gates.
Events like these build trust and emphasize positive interactions with the little ones in our communities. Lots of hugs and high fives were given and the kids gave us plenty of artwork to hang in our offices and vehicles.
Thank you to Fort Mojave Elementary for allowing us to be part of this event.
