Mohave County Elections Director Allen Tempert says he’s very satisfied how the November 8 general election took place, saying “there is no such thing as a perfect election and there never will be. However, our poll workers and other volunteers did a great job.
It went pretty well considering how complicated it is to pull off any function that involves aver 350 people spread out over 13,461 square miles in a 13-hour period.” Out of 146, 923 registered voters, 71,954 ballots were cast. Voter turnout was 48.97%. Mohave County still has approximately 11,400 ballots to process. All 15 Arizona counties are still processing ballots at this time. Currently, (12:30pm) approximately 355,931 ballots need to still be processed state-wide. A full count is never fully completed on Election Day.
Tempert says that the most important thing is accuracy with all votes counted properly. Below is a link for estimates of the number of ballots all counties are processing and tabulating.
