Mohave County supervisors certified the results of the November 8, 2022 general election Monday afternoon shortly after 2pm, November 28, 2022 in a special meeting. Certification means that the supervisors accept and confirm that all ballots cast were officially counted.
The results are now transferred to the state. Elections Director Allen Tempert said, “I’m happy that the board of supervisors canvassed the election today. It shows that the supervisors have faith and trust in the Mohave County elections process. Meanwhile, there is one meeting of supervisors remaining in 2022. It will take place on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 9:30am. The December 19 board meeting has been cancelled. County offices will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2022 and Monday, January 2, 2023 as Christmas and the New Year’s holidays both fall on a Sunday.
The first meeting of 2023 will take place on Tuesday, January 3. The new Chairman of the Board Travis Lingenfelter will take the helm with Supervisor Hildy Anguis as Vice Chair.
