Tempe, AZ - Beat the heat this summer and join in on the fun at DRAW-A-THON in the Gallery at Tempe Center for the Arts. This interactive, all day event celebrates the arts and sciences of drawing and is open to all ages.

For anyone who loves to draw, doodle, create and play, DRAW-A-THON has something for everyone. This year’s event celebrates the "HEAR ME, SEE ME" exhibition embracing topics about self-expression, identity and creativity.

Family-friendly activities10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

DRAW-A-THON during the day is a free family friendly event with hands-on art making booths, demonstrations, art displays, games, food and more. Participants can draw alongside professional artists, experiment with new drawing tools and learn about innovative techniques and technologies during live demonstrations.

DRAG & DRAW

DRAG & DRAW is an event that blends art and drag in the most spectacular way!

Unleash your inner artist and capture the glamour and charisma of local queen favorites Veronica Savage Rose (Miss Phoenix Pride 2023) and Thee Koco Caine (Season 1 & 4, The Boulet Brothers Dragula) modeling fabulous costumes throughout the evening. DJ Lezbein will be spinning the hottest tracks and Visual Artists Rachel Bess and Matt Dickson will be on hand to lead the open-studio style drawing sessions.

Get ready for an evening of fierce creativity!
