Lake Havasu Unified District Education: 5,154 Students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 5,154 students enrolled in Lake Havasu Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.6% less than the 5,461 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.8% of them were boys, and 49.2% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 66.5% of the Lake Havasu Unified District total enrollment.

Lake Havasu Unified District roughly covers schools within Mohave County and has a main office in Lake Havasu City.

Among the nine schools in Lake Havasu Unified District, Lake Havasu High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,813 students in the 2022-23 school year.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor marks for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
