Valentine Elementary District Education: 92 Students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 92 students enrolled in Valentine Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as the 92 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.1% of them were boys, and 48.9% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were American Indian or Alaskan Native, representing 73.9% of the Valentine Elementary District total enrollment.

Valentine Elementary District roughly covers schools within Mohave County and has a main office in Peach Springs.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
