Chandler Residents Encouraged to Apply for City Boards and Commissions

Chandler residents are being encouraged to apply for various boards, commissions, and citizens' committees in the city. The role of each board member is to provide recommendations to Council and/or implement policies. Applications must be submitted online at Chandler Serve, with a first review of applications scheduled for February 1. Interested applicants must reside within the city limits of Chandler.

The city offers a wide range of boards and commissions for residents to get involved in. Some of the options include the Airport Commission, Arts Commission, Housing & Human Services Commission, and the Transportation Commission, among others.

Mayor Kevin Hartke will review the applications and nominate board and commission members with the approval of the City Council. Residents who are interested in learning more about a specific board or commission can contact the City Clerk's Office for further information.

In a statement, Mayor Kevin Hartke said, "We want our residents to have a voice in shaping the future of our city. By serving on one of our boards or commissions, individuals can make a meaningful contribution to the community and help drive positive change."
