About the High School Dance Residencies
The Dance Tempe Residency Program serves all six Tempe Union High School District dance departments by bringing in local professional dance artists to teach workshops to all grades and prepare choreography for the advanced classes, culminating in the “Dance Tempe” showcase. The program aims to create memorable learning experiences for students while deepening the connection between aspiring young dancers, like-minded peers and professionals. The residency also supports local artists in their careers by providing a platform to inspire, share and be heard.
