CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler Community Center is set to host the Youth and Teen Art Show, featuring artwork from local youth. Submissions are being accepted until March 11. Kennedy Terrill, City of Chandler Recreation Coordinator, expressed excitement about the event, stating, "We are thrilled to offer a platform for the Chandler youth community to showcase their vibrant creativity."

The Youth and Teen Art Show aims to celebrate the diverse talent of young artists in the community. Artists between the ages of 6 to 17 are invited to share their creativity through various art forms, such as sculptures, multimedia illustrations, and crocheted creations. The event provides a public forum for these young artists to express themselves and share their unique gifts.

There is no cost to enter the art show, and each artist can submit up to three pieces. All accepted submissions will be featured in the Youth and Teen Art Show, which will take place at the Chandler Community Center from March 22 to April 5. The art show's grand opening event will be held on March 22 from 6-8 p.m. During the event, attendees can enjoy viewing the artwork, listen to music from a Chandler teen band, participate in the voting panel, and even engage in their own art project.

To ensure fair and accurate judging, the winners of the art show will be determined after the submission deadline on March 11, 2024. First place prizes will be awarded in each category.

Artists interested in submitting their artwork for consideration can find more information and download the application on the Youth and Teen Art Show website. The Chandler Community Center, located at 125 E. Commonwealth Ave, will be the venue for this vibrant and creative event.
