Saras Micro Devices, a leader in power performance solutions, has announced the grand opening of its new headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chandler, Arizona. The new facility, located at 3200 W. Germann Road, represents an investment of over $50 million and initially spans 33,000 sq. ft. of clean room, manufacturing, and administrative space. Saras Micro Devices plans to employ around 50 people in the near term, primarily composed of engineering talent. The company has plans for significant expansion by the end of 2025, which includes increasing the facility size to 43,000 sq. ft., including a larger 13,000-sq.-ft. clean room.

Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, expressed enthusiasm for Saras Micro Devices' selection of Arizona for its new headquarters, stating that the Chandler manufacturing facility will contribute to the advancement of semiconductor innovation in the state.
