In the 2022-23 school year, 66% of Topock Elementary District students failed their AASA Language Arts test, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

The 47 students who took the AASA test were assessed at four proficiency levels in each subject. Those at levels one and two failed the test, while students who reached the third and fourth proficiency levels passed the test.

Topock Elementary District covers only one school within Mohave County County and has a main office in Topock.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor markets for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.

In 2022, average scores from Arizona students were found to be inline with the national average scores for math and reading, according to the Nation's Report Card.
