This week, United States Representative Paul Gosar made several key votes in Congress. The House Oversight and Accountability Committee, of which Gosar is a member, voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for ignoring a subpoena related to an investigation into President Biden's alleged mishandling of classified materials.

Gosar also voted in favor of H.R. 3935, the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024, which aims to improve the Federal Aviation Administration and secure America's global leadership in air travel.

In response to recent reports concerning the origins of COVID-19 and the efficacy of social distancing measures, Gosar criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci and other health officials for their handling of the pandemic.

Gosar joined a bipartisan group in passing the Israel Security Assistance Support Act in response to President Biden's intention to withhold security resources from Israel. He also cosponsored the Reshape Alternatives to Detention (ATD) Act aimed at preventing the Department of Homeland Security’s ATD program from becoming a taxpayer-funded social services program.

Gosar voiced concern over border security following data released by Customs and Border Protection showing that 179,725 illegal aliens crossed the southern border last month.

The Congressman ended his week by sharing correspondence with constituents on various topics including military service, political discourse, and foreign aid to Ukraine.
