Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), has announced the commencement of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge, inviting middle and high school students from Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District to participate.

The annual competition aims to foster interest in computer science and coding among students. Registration is currently open, and participants can sign up for the 2024 challenge by visiting the official website. The deadline for app submissions is October 24.

Judging will commence on October 28, with winners set to be announced on November 22. Initiated by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015, this nationwide contest encourages students to develop applications for mobile, tablet, or computer devices.

The winner from Arizona's Ninth Congressional District will be selected by a panel of expert judges and featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.us. Additionally, the winning app will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol alongside other national winners.

For further information or inquiries, individuals are encouraged to visit the official Congressional App Challenge website or contact Congressman Gosar’s District Director, Penny Pew, via email at penny.pew@mail.house.gov.
