Lake Havasu City issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.
The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department had scheduled the closure of the lower portion of Tinnell Memorial Sports Park, on Thursday, October 21, 2021 until Sunday, October 24, 2021 to perform needed maintenance on the park. This date is subject to change due to weather or other factors. It been necessary for residents to use alternate facilities.
We apologize for the inconvenience. By performing routine preventive maintenance, we extend the life of the facility and prevent longer and more expensive closures and repairs.
