Every year, on the third Thursday in November, the American Cancer Society has the Great American Smokeout event. The Great American Smokeout is a reminder to start your journey towards a smoke-free life. Remember you don’t have to stop smoking in one day, start with day one.
This year, Lake Havasu High School’s Students Working Against Tobacco (S.W.A.T.) coalition created a social media campaign to reach out and encourage those in the community to quit smoking and provide a resource on where one could begin their journey towards a smoke-free, healthier lifestyle.
